• Community Connection: Family liaisons work in schools and the community to provide families with vital information and assistance to support their children's academic success.
• Diverse Representation: They bring a rich variety of cultures, languages, and races, fostering an inclusive environment for all families.
• Welcoming New Families: Family liaisons enthusiastically greet and orient new families, helping them feel at home in the school and community.
• Understanding School Culture: They guide families in understanding the school's culture, policies, procedures, and practices for a smooth transition.
• Resource Connection: Family liaisons connect families with valuable community resources to support their needs.
• School Transition Support: They assist families in the transition to new schools, easing the process for both students and parents.
• Encouraging Partnerships: Family liaisons promote strong family-school partnerships to enhance student success and healthy development.
