Colleen has been an Occupational Therapist for 14 years and has worked at with Fairfax County Public Schools and at Key Center for 5 years. In the past, she's enjoyed working in education in New Jersey and in children's homes and outpatient clinics in Texas and North Carolina.

Colleen's favorite thing about Key Center is working with the students and the staff!.  She loves working with such a diverse group of students and celebrating their wins. She finds that the staff at Key Center is collaborative, open to suggestions and incredibly dedicated to their students.

When not at work, Colleen enjoys spending time with her family, going to Wegmans, reading, exploring new places and enjoying all that the DMV has to offer. Colleen also volunteers with non-profit organizations to advocate for military and veteran caregiver needs. She is originally from New Jersey but her husband's military service has brought her family to many great places. Her husband just retired after 20 years of service in the Marine Corps and they are settling into civilian life. They spend most of their time chasing after their sweet (and busy) 2 year old son.
