This is Diane's second year at Key Center School, but she has worked in the field of behavior since 2005. She started working with children with special needs in 2012 as a Behavioral Therapist and became a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst in 2017.  Diane loves coming to school each day and greeting the students as they arrive. She says that the students' smiles remind her that each day is a fresh start, an opportunity to learn, and a time to connect and build relationships, and to help our students grow.

When not at work, Diane loves playing soccer, working out, going for walks, biking and hiking with her family, cooking, and playing board games.  If there is time, you can find her relaxing on her hammock with a good book whenever possible.  Diane met her husband when she was 18. They have been married for 15 years and have an 11 year old son and an 8 year old daughter. They have two cats who act very much like dogs, and the kids have their own fish which they have kept alive for a surprisingly long time.

What did Diane do before entering the field of education?   Her fun fact is that she was a dolphin trainer for 7 years before I found the field of ABA.  She trained Winter, the dolphin who was featured in the 2006 movie Dolphin Tale!
