Ms. Stewart has been a dedicated special education teacher for 11 years. She began her career in Prince William County and joined the Key Center team in 2017. After four years in our community, she moved to Louisville, Kentucky, where she taught for three years. We were thrilled to welcome her back to our region this school year.  Ms. Stewart is delighted to return to her favorite school and reunite with her favorite students. She says that she appreciates the incredible students and supportive staff at Key Center.

Outside of work, Ms. Stewart enjoys shopping, binge-watching reality TV, playing trivia, traveling, pilates,  walking, visiting museums, and exploring old cemeteries. Although she loves to travel, she hasn't been on a plane in 26 years due to her fear of flying. She welcomes any tips to help her overcome this fear.

Ms. Stewart recently celebrated her 23rd wedding anniversary with her husband, Rodney. She is the proud mother of Grace (a recent UMD graduate working as a software developer), Jack (a UMD sophomore studying psychology), and Lily (a Rutgers freshman studying biology). The Stewart family is also home to Sunny (a four-year-old Great Dane), Meatball (a rescued mutt), and Chunk (a grumpy cat).
