Staff Spotlight- Lauren Swale
Lauren began her education career as a special education paraprofessional. After ten years in the paraprofessional role, she advanced into a Severe Disabilities Teacher position. Lauren taught for 5 years within FCPS before transitioning to her current role as a Behavior Resource Teacher. This is Lauren's second year supporting Key Center School as one of our Behavior Resource Teachers.
Lauren's favorite thing about Key Center is the family atmosphere. She likes how the staff all support each other through good times and through challenging situations.
When not at work, Lauren enjoys boating, and spending time with friends and family. She has two dogs- Harley who is a thirteen-year-old black lab/golden retriever mix and Malibu, who is a two-year-old American eskimo mix.
