Staff Spotlight- Sara Lansang
Sara is a teacher in Key Center's 17-22 program. She has been teaching at Key Center for eight years. Prior to working here, she was a special education teacher at another FCPS school, Waples Mill Elementary. She began her teaching career in North Carolina.
Sara's favorite thing about Key Center is the opportunity to work with her amazing students. She loves that the students find joy in their daily routines and activities, frequently laughing and smiling through their work. Sara is also grateful for the connections that she has established with her classroom team and co-workers.
Sara is originally from Nashville, Tennessee. Her husband, Ron, was in the Army, which brought their family to the Fairfax County area. Sara has two boys- Ethan is eleven years old and Brandon is nine years old. When not at work, Sara loves spending time with her family, gardening, going for walks, reading, baking, watching football (especially the University of Alabama!), and going to Barnes and Noble.
