Ms. McKnight brings a decade of experience in education to Key Center. After graduating from college, she began her career as a preschool special education teacher. She has also served as a substitute teacher and a special education assistant. More recently, she transitioned to a central office role, working in the FCPS Human Resources Department for two years.

Ms. McKnight joined Key Center in August as a Student Information Assistant in our front office. She appreciates the warm welcome she has received from our staff, students, and families. Returning to a school environment has been a positive experience, as she missed interacting with students during her time in central office.

A member of a large family with four sisters and one brother, Ms. McKnight enjoys staying active in her free time. She plays basketball and tennis, and is passionate about traveling. A fun fact-- Ms. McKnight competed in the US Junior Olympics as a member of a travel jump rope team!
